A late fee of $15.00 will be charged if not paid by February 1st. After warrant has been issued, a fee of $25.00 will be assessed. Required for Renewal: Bring evidence of a previous hunting (or archery) license or a Safe Hunter’s Card. Permit fee is $25.00. Required for Renewal: All renewals are due by July 1st every year. The renewal fee is $25.00. Post Office Address: 5 Main Street Property Tax Contact: Susan Wilson, Tax Collector @ Town Office, 207-594-7434. Real Estate and Personal Property Tax can be paid in full or in two installments. The first installment is due by September 30, 2009. Interest at 9% will be charged on any balances due as of October 30, 2009. The second installment is due by March 15, 2010. Required for New Registration: A bill of sale, a 5% sales tax on the purchase price will be collected on private sales (dealerships collect sales tax at time of purchase). Required for New Registration: Maine drivers license and current bill listing your address in Owls Head. You can register to vote at any time of the year (including Election Day) at the Owls Head Town Office.
